7 Things to Consider Before Buying Clothes

"I always feel that if you're gonna be uncomfortable and unhappy in something, just because you think it's in or it's chic, I would advise you to be happy rather than well-dressed. It's better to be happy." – Iris Apfel

Let's face it, many of us here love fashion. Who wouldn't, right? Fashion is simply expressing of who we are through what we wear. You can be whoever you want to be when you wear the clothes of your choice.  Not to mention, we buy clothes simply because we like it and we need it. However, did you know that there are certain things to consider before you buy clothes? It is not just about how pretty it is, or how it fits perfectly on you. It is also about contemplating what's best and what's not.

The moment you decide to go shopping for Wholesale Steve Madden or any other big brands, think twice before you purchase. To give you an idea, we list down some things to consider before you buy a particular cloth.

Is the price reasonable?

Perhaps, some of you won't mind paying for something that you feel it is worth your money. For as long as it's pretty and fits perfectly on you, then you'd definitely pay for it. But for some, the price may be subjected to debate – whether or not the clothes are worth the price. We may all have different answers to this question since we have a different view about it.

However, if you plan on saving money, then try not to spend too much on a particular clothing.  You may not want to put your clothes on a garage sale since you badly need money. Buy clothes that you need. And if you think it is too expensive, then try to scout for another store that sells the same clothes but at a lower price.

How often will I wear this?

Once? Occasionally? Every other day? Asking yourself how often will you wear that particular cloth will give you an idea if it is worth the purchase or not. For casual wear, you do not have to spend too much. You can have beautiful, comfortable, and decent clothes at an affordable price.

However, if you plan to wear it only once, then you might want to consider a different option. Perhaps, you can borrow clothes from your friends. With this, you are not going to waste your money just for a one-time wear.

Do I have something similar?

We all have a different style when it comes to our clothing. And sometimes, we tend to buy clothes that are somewhat similar to the previous clothes that we bought. Of course, there is nothing wrong with that. However, if you want to look fashionable in the clothes you wear, you should also try different styles of clothing.

Before you decide to purchase, make sure to know how many clothes you already have that is similar to the one you want to buy. Also, try to be creative enough in mix matching your clothes. With this, you will not have to worry about buying another style of clothes for you to wear.

Will this be out of style soon?

"Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express but the way you dress and the way to live." – Gianni Versace

If you are a practical person, you'd definitely choose comfort over trendy clothes. Yes, they may be fancy and stylish. But buying these kinds of clothes may not be a practical way, especially when you are on a tight budget. Admittedly, you may be tempted to buy such trendy clothes. Just make sure that it is worth the price.

However, if you choose to purchase an item that is trendy nowadays, then find an alternative where you can have that particular cloth at an affordable price. Perhaps, you can go from store to store and compare which price that would fit your budget.

Does it flatter me?

Apparently, we do not buy clothes that don't fit us. Right?  When choosing the right clothes, you make sure that it suit to your figure, the cut, skin tone, and anything that would get you flatter. It is in this way where you can be stylish yet in a comfortable way as possible.

If you think you are not sure about whether it fits on you or not, you might want to bring a fashion savvy friend with you. With your friends with you will help you in determining which clothes is best for you.

Is it versatile?

Clothes can also be versatile – that if you know how to choose the right clothes for you to wear. Again, mix matching your clothes is also one way you can save from buying other clothes. Make sure that it can also be stylish even if they are paired with another top or bottom.

For many, they prefer to purchase a lot of solids. Solids can work well and are versatile enough for you to have. They also lend an air of elegance to an everyday outfit. Not to mention, you can have a simple look that focuses on your personal beauty.

Do I love it?

This is one of the most important questions you need to ask yourself before you decide to purchase a particular clothing. If you think you the clothes does not fit on you, then do not buy it.  Buying clothes that you do not like or love will only lead you to waste money. Again, you buy clothes because you need it and you like it. Moreover, never go impulsive buying. You don't want to regret buying it afterward.

The moment you decide to buy clothes, think about whether you love it or not. And if you do, then this might be your chance to purchase and wear that particular clothing.

Considering these things mentioned above, you'd definitely get a desirable outcome. Not just with the clothes that you want to wear, but the feeling of satisfaction whenever you own the things you want in life.

Of Jackets and Blazers: Six Coats Every Woman Needs in Her Wardrobe

“Things do not pass for what they are, but for what they seem. Most things are judged by their jackets.” –Baltasar Gracian If there is an epitomic fashion piece that would spell out cold seasons, it would have to be the jacket. Considering this to be an archetypal piece in your closets for the rainy and winter seasons, it is only natural to have several designs—it would be a fashion atrocity for a woman to continue sporting just one kind of sweater. However, most individuals care naught for style when it comes to covering up as to most, what you are wearing inside matters most. But any self-respecting fashionista would be singing a different tune: What you wear outside matters just as much as what you are wearing in your coats and jackets. And if you truly want to make a fashion statement, you should begin with your jacket. Jackets and coats are arguably two of most essential albeit underrated garments in your wardrobe. But in order to bring out the maximum potential of your winter or rainy day ensemble, you must at least have a multitude of jacket and coat options to choose from. From the bomber jacket designs of wholesale standard and grind to the trench coats of your favorite retail clothing shop, here are some of the jacket options you should never miss out on.

1. Leather Jacket

If there is one penultimate winter fashion piece your closet should have, it should be the winter jacket next to the trench coat. Everyone needs this staple in their closet as this should be your go-to piece for the weekends. In a sense, sporting a leather jacket is the height of cool, and when done right, it can look very sophisticated as well as stylish. As the style tends to vary each year, go with a classic cut that would last you over a span of various seasons if you do not wish to fork cash for every reinvention made to this definitive jacket style.
2. Trench Coat

Without a doubt, a classic trench coat by itself is already the very essence of sophistication and femininity. Donning a white one complemented by a dark scarf and sunglasses would make the contrasting colors stand out and create an effect that is subtle but arresting.  Look for a versatile piece that can be worn during your casual strolls in the park on a cold day, and can be dressed up for a night out in town. Choose a style that hits just below the knee for that classic and sophisticated look.

3. Rain Coat

People are under the mistaken notion that rain coats could never be stylish as they are always fashioned after transparent plastic bags. With this in mind, they would think it is shapeless and agonizingly tacky. But au contraire, rain coats can be effectively fashionable when done right. The rain coat is an absolute must-have during the transition season and for best results, go with the classic A-line cut with a hood. This classic shape is versatile, and it never goes out of style.

4. Classic Peacoat

Part preppy and part urban chic, this classic piece can be worn with a broad range of styles. If you are looking to channel your inner French chic, wear this with a striped shirt and a stylish hat (preferably a beret) to give your casual ensemble that extraordinary French vibe. For a different take, it goes well with denim and skirts as well. Transform your chic peacoat into your favorite go-to everyday jacket and begin experimenting with different styles.

5. Parka

Although this is not a necessary piece in your closet, it can be a very stylish addition. Depending on how cold your winters can get, a parka might be essential after all. If you find that your winter season is colder than usual, then perhaps you should make this necessary but stylish investment.

6. Luxury Coat

A glamorous and expensive coat is meant not only to conceal what is underneath it and protect you from the cold, but it also serves as a fashion statement item that exudes elegance as well as stylish sophistication. Your luxury coat can be made from any fabric you want though a vast majority of women seem to prefer faux fur. This would look absolutely gorgeous paired with oversized and distressed denim. For formal settings, intricate brocades are the way to go finished off with an extravagant faux fur collar.

The black bodice covers her midriff but shows off her perfectly toned sides. The black jacquard midi skirt gave Emma a very chic, elegant and fresh look and oh did we mention Emma managed to get slight modifications doneon the dress as well from what was showcased on the runway just a week before?

The Birdman actress wore another number right off the runway to theVanity Fair Oscars party. This time it was a Joseph Altuzarra dress which he showcased just a week before on runways of New York fashion Week. Stone paired the golden red Tibetan Wave "Aurelia" dress with black  Louboutins to show her spot on style.

Jessie Ware

Jessie showed her love for Coach as she was seen in Coach from head-to-toe at the Ellle Style Awards. She chose this layered ensemble by Stuart Vever’s designed for Coach. She chose to accessorize with shoes and accessories from the same brand. The singer carried this most wearable look from runway on the red carpet appealingly well with her distinct style.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

The model with the impossibly perfect looks and who has modeled for every fashion house from Burberry to Victoria’s Secret definitely knows the big wigs of the fashion industry. Catch The Trend At Chan Luu Jewelry

A distinctive sense of style is does not have to be inborn. It is developed through the cultivation of keen observation and interest in contemporary fashion trends. Going through the wide variety of trends you can easily find something that rhymes with your taste and lifestyle.

A lot of work and effort usually goes into coming up with a style of your own. Unless you have professional stylists attending to your fashion needs, it can be relatively hard work. However, the success of coming up with a distinct and elegant style that makes you feel great is a feeling that is worth the effort.

You must have encountered jewelry all through your life. The more sophisticated a piece of jewelry is, the more affluent it portrays the owner. They are a symbol of financial stability. Keeping up with the fashion trends therefore, becomes a common trend for icons and their fans.

Every time your jewelry is outstanding, you portray a sense of class and sophistication. This is because it is the celebrities who set the trends in fashion and style. Most of the time people will identify themselves with the elegance of icons to make themselves feel important.

Diamonds are probably the most expensive and beautiful of coloured stones used in fashion jewelry. The trends in diamond jewelry usually change in the colour of the stone. Of late the classic yellow diamond has been featuring in most recent fashion collections. However, other hues, like blue and black, are also lending popularity to this ancient stone.

Apart from diamonds, there are other less expensive stones that are still fashionable for those who do not have enough means to get diamond. These coloured stones include aquamarine and tourmaline. While younger generations are tolerant of cheap jewelry, it is still not acceptable for wealthier classes to go for expensive stones.

Looking elegant in jewelry goes beyond just having the most expensive stones or the trendiest pieces. Balancing your items is important when you want to make a statement about your sense of fashion and style. To have the right combination of pieces you should make sure that much restraint is employed to make sure that you do not make conflicting statements.

A dramatic necklace should be combined with a modest pair of earrings. Wearing three different, bold pieces at the same time, for example earrings, necklaces and rings, shows a lack of taste. Necklaces usually make a good combination with rings while bracelets go well with earrings.

When choosing you jewelry it is important to consider the shape of your face and your hair style. For example a small face and short hair go well with small earrings while piled up hair matches with long, dangling earrings. Other things to consider when choosing jewelry are your age, taste eye color and hair color. Color combinations also matter and it is not good to combine gold necklaces with silver bracelets. No matter what your taste or style is at Chan Luu Jewelry you will find the right pieces to give you a trendy look.

It is evident that a great physical appearance leads to heightened confidence. As much as there are people who don't give a hoot about fashion, those who do know that it gives them a lot more than just great looks--it boosts self-esteem.

Women with a good fashion sense know that it has to be coordinated from the head all the way down. In essence, if you are really looking to make a statement, you have to get the right hairdo, put on the right shoes, carry a nice handbag, and of course; wear the right outfit. A single misplaced item is bound to ruin an otherwise stunning look. Here are useful tips every woman needs to take into account while shopping for the latest trends:

Bags/purses

While you're out shopping for a bag to go with your outfit, you really should consider both your weight and height; for instance a larger bag will favour a thin and tall frame. Be sure to try out several bags before making your purchase, so that you are certain to leave with something which makes you feel satisfied. Additionally, if you really want to get something of great quality, keep away from the look-alikes.

Shoes

The type of shoes you pick should be determined by the season and the purpose of the shoes. The various sandal varieties will suit you on a trip to the beach on a sunny afternoon; but during the cold weather, they will not really work for you. Furthermore, shoes come in a variety, thus you do not have to pick any options blindly just because you believe they are trendy. There are those with floral or tribal prints, and others with rhinestones in all colors, it's all up to you to choose; be sure to make them relevant to the season.

Jewelry

The jewelry you pick is really dependent on the overall look you wish to achieve. There are a couple of rings, link bracelets, pendants, bangles and brooches all which are structured to suit individual tastes. Most of the trendy ones are made of either copper or brass and come a number of them come with gemstones attached. They are made in different designs, as well thus the choice is yours to make.

Clothes

Free People Clothing stocks the latest in clothing for women. Some of the most preferred trends include the black and white pieces as well as the floral dresses. When shopping for clothing, be sure to go to places such as these where you will get clothes for different occasions all under one roof. Clothing should project who you are as an individual; the good thing is that you can always work around trendy pieces to have them suit your personality. Remember, you might think a certain trend is a must have, but if it doesn't favour your body type, it won't do you any good -- get only what flatters your body.

Fiorentini Baker: How to Avoid Being a Fashion Disaster

Fiorentini Baker, How to Avoid Being a Fashion Disaster, Erin Fashion, Fashion, Celebrities Fashion, Fashion Blog

The evolution in the fashion industry can never come to a halt; as much as a majority of the ideas are being borrowed from past trends and getting recycled, there's always something new being incorporated each season. Certainly, it's to the advantage of the fashion lovers who will go to just about all lengths to look good. Comfort is obviously a key issue when it comes to dressing, but when this is combined with fashion, the effect is beyond appealing.

Every so often there are numerous designers from all around the globe, who showcase their creatively done pieces in various runways, and it's all up to the fashion trendsetters to look into these, and pick that which they feel will flatter their bodies the most. It doesn't take long before everyone else follows suit. Unfortunately, there are those few who will just go in blindly, and pick anything from the shelves, then put it together whichever way they please without caring for proper combination. It's really essential to know how to place together the various clothing items; it's the only way to be certain to make the best out of it.

It is true that image says a lot about who you are; when you are in clothes that look tired and worn out, it says something not so good about you. On the other hand, if you appear clean-cut and on top of your fashion sense, well then the image projected is equally remarkable. As much as it may be something hard to deal with, the truth is that people judge based on appearances, thus it's up to you to leave a desirable impression. Keep in mind however that when anything is overdone, it will just make you look confused and messed up, thus moderation is the key.

Accessories are also quite important; there are those women who will select the trendiest outfits, but then ruin the look by throwing on ugly shoes and unflattering jewelry. This just throws everyone off, and even though no one will say it to your face always remember that the beauty truly lies in the detail. A stylish purse or handbag may just serve to brighten up and boost the overall appearance of your already trendy outfit.

In addition, when it comes to shoes, put on only what is favored by the season. You might get a pair of elegant suede knee length boots at places such as Fiorentini Baker, and you may be dying to show them off --this is not a bad thing! However, you will be doing yourself a disgrace if you put them on a hot and sunny day. In addition to looking out of place, you will also be quite uncomfortable; remember you want people to notice you in a good way --keep your fashion relevant.

Lastly, it's always best if you can acquire quality items. If you wish to stand out, you have to be willing to go all the way and this means digging a little deeper into your pockets. When you buy something of great quality, you can be assured of making the most out of your fashion investment.
